SPRING 2013! This year's annual, coordinated, nation-wide trash pickup day is back!
SIGN UP to join in!
So, what exactly is it? It's a social, environmental initiative with two simple components: a coordinated, annual, nation-wide trash pickup day; and a mission to educate communities about recycling, sustainability and environmental protection.
Clean the Land is your day to reconnect with the land by picking up the trash around your community.
We have the privilege of calling Israel home, and like every home, when spring time rolls around, it’s time for a cleaning!

It works like this: you need to SIGN UP and we'll send you an information packet with instructions on what to do on the actual Trash Pickup Day (Spring 2013), trash bags and protective gloves. Seriously, it's that easy!
OK, I like what I hear, keep selling it to me! The Clean the Land initiative is where the dream of having a beautiful, trash-free Israel meets the enthusiasm and energy of the amazing people living, working, traveling, volunteering, and studying in Israel. On the Trash Pickup Day people from these communities will volunteer across the nation to hit the streets, paths, beaches and parks of Israel with the objective of refreshing the land. The driving force behind the success of Israel has been the ability of people from all over the world to positively contribute to and mold this amazing country. The Clean the Land initiative is a step in fulfilling a long-term goal of creating a trash-free, eco-conscious Israel where everybody embraces ideals like “leave no trace” and “reduce, reuse, recycle”. Love it. Live it. Clean it. |
